I'm finally home!

I fit in so well at my new job, it's amazing. My new boss was asking, "how is it that someone like you worked for a bank for a few years?" I just chuckled...

First day was great. It took me less than 15 minutes to get to the office from my apartment. Orientation was a little boring, but that was expected. I met a lot of people, there are about 150 employees in our office. I got my new G4 laptop with a 2nd wide-flatscreen monitor... yummy. I'm currently sharing a huge office with two other people, but am told I will be moving offices within about a month or so. My boss absolutely loves me. She told our client that I'm brilliant. I think my bank background will help solidify the relationship with the agency. I'm very excited.

Yaaay!

The "dress code" is casual. No, not business casual, just casual. OMG, what a difference from working for a bank. I can wear jeans on like, a Tuesday! As long as I don't have any client meetings, in which case I just need to change beforehand.

I left the office around 6:20 and was home by 6:30. I didn't know what to do with myself. I'm planning on getting in the habit of working out after work, but for now I'm just trying to catch up on some R & R.

Life is good. :-)

yay for you! I'm glad you found something that is a much better fit, not to mention less of a commute-hell. :)
